Uh, yeah, Otakon update. Ripped from my sister, lawl.

Cosplay: Karasu from Yu Yu Hakusho.
Status: I'll say 40% done.
Notes: My sister's been cool and trying to help with my Karasu costume cos I'm hardly home anymore, but sadly the fuckin' coat broke the needle on the sewing machine. D: Fucking denim. All I have are the wig and the mask. Shit.

Cosplay: Neo/Shadow Heartless from Kingdom Hearts.
Status: 65% done.
Notes: I've got the body mostly done. Just figured out how to do the eyes and face, but the antennae are gonna be a challenge.

I hope I can even take off of school for Otakon. =/ We shall see. As for my artwork...don't expect anything from me for a while longer. I just finished a 6 page essay D: Noes.

In other news, I got sunburnt when it was cloudy and raining for 98% of the day. Wtf. D:

So the other day I got into a manga/anime called Soul Eater...it's been a while since I found a manga/anime I actually liked. I suppose its a good thing I started reading it, cos it made me realize how much fun/hard work it'll be to come up with a working storyline and draw it all out. =/ I'm gonna have to rewrite some shit in the scriptof my own comic, add some stuff, take stuff out...yeahh. Hard work, but I can't wait to start drawin' that shit. Whee!

Why can't I live in Germany? Goddamn, I was browsin' through cosplay pics here on dA and almost every single cosplayer I like is from Germany! D: They've all got good costumes, they look the part...God. They make me ashamed of my costumes, lmao! XD Props to them, though. Gah, I need to finish the wigsssss.

I got a lot of graduation money the other day at my disaster of a party (fucking cat! Die!), around 240 bucks, which isn't bad at all. Add that onto the 155 I have already saved for Otakon, and I'm pretty much set XD. I want that Organization XIII coat! D<

I'm supposed to be getting a tattoo soon, but I dunno. It'll probably be really small, like that standard black star that everyone seems to has as their first tattoo. I think I'll be smart and wait until I have a paying job before I go all out, lol.

Ergh...*coughhack* Umm, yeah...thanks to an awesome conversation with , I got extremely motivated to work on Otakon shizz. Yesterday I chopped up this old "Russian gangster" wig that's been floating around my closet since the filming of Ninja Suburbia III...don't ask, please.

But yeah, I chopped, sprayed and...chopped until it began to resemble Roxas' head. Funny, because I'm not going as Roxas this year. A friend that's coming with us to Otakon is, however, and I decided to take a crack at it. It's not done yet, but I am happy with the results thusfar. Only real set back was the fact that the kid who's going as Roxas told me today he wanted "real" hair. XD Sorry, dude, but I know from experience that Roxas' hair is destined to be wig-sculpted. No ammount of hair cement and glue would ever be able to support that many spikes no matter how well your hair takes to the products.

Anyway, I was so impressed with my "l33t wig styling skills", I decided to take another one of my unused wigs and make Sora's hair outta it. It wasn't as hard as Roxas' because it didn't need straightening (another adventure all together), but yeah...it's pretty much done save for the back clump of spikes and the bottom ones...need to measure the kid who's going as Sora's head. DX People keep switching costumes! Grahhh.

Ngh...what else...I haven't done much with my own costumes...too into the wigs that aren't even for me DX. I really want to get my Heartless cosplay done, but I'm not sure how to do the antennae. Smaller is easier, but not as much fun. D: Noes.

Art is ehh...kinda getting back into artsy-fartsy mode...I'm still writing the script for Headvoices, too, so that's taking up time as well. Pretty much done Will's book and halfway done Fondue's...man, I can't wait to write Argy's death scene. SORRY, BECK XD. The rest of the comic is coming along, too. Whee.

I haven't been artsy-fartsy in the longest time, hence the lack of updating. That goes for Otakon cosplay, too. >.< I have no effort to do anything anymore.

I also told my dad to ask someone else to do the cover for his book. I wouldn't do a good job on it anyway due to lack of time (I fuckin' procrastinated bdghdsfsfg) and the fact I will be too busy for the rest of my life to do anything with it. He understood. And now I have no money, hahaa. Oh well.

Ergh...gonna try to do something with cosplay this weekend...maybe. I've had the urge to cosplay as Organization XIII, and I think it would be kick ass if I could find enough people willing to cosplay as all 13 members. I've got too much to deal with right now to worry about that, though. Maybe next year.

Heh, on a lighter note, both my parents are going to cosplay at Otakon, too. Dear God. Apparently my dad has a favorite old anime called "Starblazers" and wants to cosplay as some dude from there. My mom will be joining him since the costumes are easy enough to make. Oh Jesus.
